Almondbury Community Centre

The project entails the development of an existing facility, Almondbury Methodist Church Hall, into a communal facility. The current suite of rooms will be significantly upgraded through a new build project as well as the extensive refurbishment and reconfiguring of existing facilities to provide accessible, comfortable and acceptable accommodation for the whole community. A management committee made up of representatives from the community and church will be set up to take responsibility for the centre ensuring full community use and promoting corporate activities. It will be staffed by volunteers although it is anticipated that within a short period of time paid staff will be employed, full training will be made available
