Alternative Access to Causey Arch

Path surface improvements are to be undertaken to enable people with ambulant disabilities to gain access to causey arch. This structure is a significant feature of industrial archaeology in the north east and currently only accessible by a route with steps. The intention is to provide a well-surfaced alternative route to the arch that allows convenient access by anyone with an ambulant disability
