Alverstoke Parish Centre, Gosport (2) – Roof Repairs, Solar Panel and Battery Storage (008068)

The Centre was built in the 1960s and is the hub of the community with numerous groups and activities for different age ranges. However, it is becoming more expensive to heat. The project will install solar panels and battery storage. Once the panels are installed, they will phase out the use of gas for heating and hot water this will help to reduce running costs and carbon emissions. The roof will also be maintained to ensure it is fully prepared for the addition of the solar panels.
