Ambrose Barlow Roman Catholic Church, Birmingham – The Hobby Room Extension (008033)

Refurbishing a large area at the back of the main hall which is currently used as storage and fire route into a new room specifically set up for hobby groups (eg crafting, woodwork, art). This will increase the use of the space by up to 50% to offer both spaces for use at the same time.
The refurbishment will include:
Create new window openings and install two new double glazed windows
Removal wooden fire door and replace with new double glazed door.
Asbestos removal in back of hall (floor tiles)
Refurbish back of hall
Build new storage area
Create new fire exits
