Ampthill Town Cricket Club, Ampthill - Pavilion Accessibility and Kitchen Improvements (008138)

The current Pavilion, constructed in 1980s, has become inaccessible & unsafe for community use. This project updates and improves the internals of our building to required standards & enhances energy efficiency. The renovations includes expanding the facilities & introducing new disabled access & amenities, increasing use & inclusivity. As a separate project previously completed the organisation has extended the pavilion, for which we raised £277,809. However internal upgrades are now a priority, for which we need £46,634, otherwise there's no usable space. The updated Pavilion benefits varied community users (1000's annually), including LGBTQ+ groups (Pride Events), Ampthill Festivals/Galas, local fishing groups, Pilates & hundreds of sporting users. Internal renovations: Allow more use: Larger changing rooms New flooring throughout Upgraded kitchen(currently unusable) Accessibility improved: New disabled toilet(currently none: wheelchairs can't access) Gender-neutral changing rooms(currently no female space)
