Anchored to the Horizon Sculpture

The Amenity Trust in partnership with the Merchant Navy Association would like to install a large metal figure at the entrance to Stornoway Harbour. The large figure of a fisherman looking through a telescope is to be positioned on Sober Island( actually not an island) which is in the Lews Castle Grounds, owned by public landlord the Stornoway Trust. We have permission from the Estate Trustees for this. We plan to design an attractive area around the new statue as well
