Anglesey Red Squirrel Project

A project has been established to conserve the Red Squirrel on Anglesey - 1 of 2 remaining populations in Wales. A project officer has bee appointed on a temporary basis to lead the project and design and carry out a programme including; habitat management (Grey Squirrel control, Red Squirrel survey and support, woodland management) liaison with landowners and local community. Funds are required to establish the post and assistant.
