Annan Harbour Silt Removal

To improve a stretch of the navigable channel at Annan Harbour by removing 5,200 tonnes of silt. This will enable use by coastal sailing boats, dinghies and rowing boats. The project will significantly add to the economic wellbeing of Annan and will afford opportunities for physical activity for all age ranges and physical abilities, and will widen the awareness and appreciation of the special landscape of the Solway estuary and its wide range of wildlife.
