Arleston Community Centre, Telford- improvements to the building (006441)

The project aims to improve Arleston Community Centre making it appealing to new community groups as well as improving the experience of groups that currently using the centre The improvements include replacing doors and frames throughout the building, repairing the floor in the hall, replacing the external fire door, redecorating making the hall more appealing to a wider range of the community.

Arleston Community Centre is a resident-led centre and is open to all within Arleston and surrounding areas. It has a function room available to groups which they hire, Arleston is diverse with many residents from the muslim and polish community. It is an area of social deprivation, noted for high levels of child obesity.
