Arnside Memorial Play Area

The aim of the project is to provide a refurbished playground on Arnside Memorial Playing Field for children from 18 months to 14 years. The existing equipment is over 20 years old and somewhat limited. Some items have been removed and a recent report has indicated more will have to be removed.
The new equipment will be of timber construction and include equipment and safety surfacing.
The play area is situated on Arnside Memorial Playing Fields along with a bowling green, tennis courts, open green space and two pavilions. The playing fields came into existence after World War 2.
