Art Works, Rotherham – New Community Hub (6002)

The project will make improvements to the community centre so it is safe, functional and welcoming place for all as it has been empty for a number of years. Thorpe Hesley residents have access to one other community centre which is oversubscribed so there is a great need for this project.

There is potential for this project to also reduce the environmental impact with the building with updating heating, some windows, lighting and insulating. The washroom facilities don’t currently have hot water and the kitchen and disabled toilet aren’t fit for purpose, this will all be addressed through this project.
