Ashbourne Sports and Community Hub

The project involves building a modern ‘fit for purpose’ iconic Pavilion at Ashbourne Recreation Ground comprising 4 changing rooms for clubs and a further 2 for referees/umpires as well as a new community venue/hub which will contain a bar and community café. The new pavilion will comprise • 4 sports changing rooms meeting English Cricket Board and Football Foundation standards • A new community hub of some 120 square metres which will be the home for the Ashbourne Digital Learning Centre and the ARGSCP’s ‘Community Offer’, a range of healthy-living and well-being community programmes managed by the District Council’s Community Activator who will be located in the Pavilion. • A community café and bar
