Ashes Playing Field Trust Rose Garden

The Ashes trust owns and manages a large park in Howden. In the centre of the park is an old rose garden and the remains of an avenue planted when the park was first laid out out in the 1930’s. The project is phase 1 preparatory works to replant the area.. The remains of the avenue have been removed along with old roses. The project is to add topsoil to the old rosebeds and turf them in preparation for phase 2 tree planting and path repairs. The scheme will be named Diamond Jubilee Walk
