Ashleworth Ham Nature Reserve Conservation

To enhance the nature reserve (SSSI) for the benefit of the breeding wading birds most notably curlew, redshank, lapwing, and snipe, and for wintering wildfowl including pintail, wigeon, teal, and shoveler. The reserve is one of the most important surviving areas for breeding waders in the Severn Vale and with a great decline in numbers both nationally and locally, this project will seek to maintain and significantly improve on populations.
