To provide the equipment and facilities needed to enable the continuation of grazing by cattle of this important SSSI nature reserve to conserve the botanical interest and to facilitate the required conditions for breeding waders and invertebrates.

To remove sediment from specific ditches to improve the diversity of aquatic vegetation.
