Ashton and Mouldsworth Village Hall Renovation project 2025

The project will improving the appearance of the hall, reduce energy costs and upgrade the fire safety system.
The village hall was built more than 150 years ago and has poor energy efficiency as indicated by a recent Energy Performance certificate.
Following improvements the applicants have already made to loft insulation and heating system, the funding would help enable to install secondary glazing to all windows and draughtproof the two external doors in order to reduce draughts and improve the energy efficiency of the windows. The Hall is in need of refreshing its appearance both internally and externally in order to remain attractive to users and potential users and be competitive with other local venues. Internal and external painting will be undertaken
and the kitchen will be modernized with new kitchen unit doors, a new fridge and dishwasher and new plates, cups etc. and cutlery.
