Ashton Court Greenway, North Somerset- Connecting cycle path

The Ashton Court Greenway will be a direct, 870m long, level, all-weather traffic-free walking and cycling route through woodland. Running across the bottom of the Estate, it will connect the Ashton Road and Kennel Lodge Road entrances, linking the growing commuter village of Long Ashton with existing traffic-free cycle routes into Central Bristol.
The route will complete the Bristol to Nailsea Festival Way, and connect the Park and Ride, the new MetroBus cycle route and the southern Bristol local cycle route.
The route will avoid the steep, heavily trafficked Ashton Court Mansion drives and be suitable for experienced and novice cyclists of all abilities and ages, and for pedestrians, pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. It will provide an additional resource for the public using Ashton Court Estate for local recreation and pleasure. It will be open to the public at all times without charge.
