Ashton Park – improve existing facilities

The project will upgrade and add to facilities at Ashton Park which have become degraded over time. Specifically 1 x new picnic bench will be installed, 1 x existing picnic bench will be refurbished, 2 x new benches will be installed, 1 x new notice board will be installed and new planters will be installed.

The picnic tables, benches, notice board and planters will provide a focal point in the park, creating a clearly designated area for socialising and an ideal place for all park users to mix. The main users are dog walkers, groups of young people, organised sports teams, families and people generally wanting to take a break and be outdoors. All current and future users of the park will benefit from the new and upgraded items.
