Askham Bog Regeneration Project

Askham Bog SSSI supports important fen, woodland and wetland habitiats, which provide homes for diverse plant and animal communities. This project will help in maintaining the habitat by removing invading scrub and restoring ditches, providing stock handling facilities to enable cattle to graze. Improved access will be provided to the site for the less able and wheelchair users, in addition to providing improved signage.
