Assembly Rooms Refurbishment: Phase 2

There is an urgent need to remove a collapsing, hazardous old leaking asbestos roof over part of our rural village hall, which is community owned an volunteer run and serves a remote population of 1,200.

It will be replaced with a new watertight, insulated and energy saving roof, incorporating several rooflights to bring natural light and ventilation to what is currently a dark, windowless kitchen & recreation room.

This replacement roof will also cover the entrance foyer and toilets, which is also part covered by corrugated plastic. This project will preserve and greatly enhance this much needed village amenity.
