Astley Green Colliery Museum – Engine Power in the Blacksmith Workshop

Purchase of a Crossley engine for Astley Green Colliery Museum, Wigan. The engine will power the blacksmith shop belt which will recreate how the belt would have been originally driven when the Astley Green pit first opened. This will create the only fully working belt driven workshop in the Country.
