Astley Park River Chor Enhancement Scheme

The aim of the project is to improve the water quality, ecological value and access to the River Chor through Astley Park in Chorley. This will be achieved by creating a reedbed to improve the water quality of the River Chor, woodland and wildflower meadow management, formalising 'desire line' paths with stone surfacing, installing a footbridge over the river and installing interpretation boards.
