Aston-Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve

Conserving floodplain meadow at Chimney Meadows nature reserve (SSSI,CWS/WHS,NNR). It is intended therefore to install 1.2km of fencing along part of the southern boundary of the reserve, along the inner side of the Thames Path. It will be installed during summer 2009. As well keeping the cattle from the water’s edge along this stretch, the fence will also protect wildfowl and waders from accidental disturbance by path users.
