Aston Edwardian Association, Birmingham – Disabled Access and Toilet Refurbishment (40041/D)

Disabled access to the clubhouse can only currently be made via the rear fire exit door only allowing reasonable access to one lounge. The age and design of the club also unfortunately means that no toilet facilities can be offered for males or females with restricted mobility due to current design restrictions. The toilets in general are over due refurbishment and the project proposes the complete redesign of the whole space and facilities to provide ramped access to the front doors of the premises, Level access to both lounge rooms and the provision of a new purpose built DDA compliant disabled toilet from the current foyer. This would enable more inclusive and wider uses of our facilities by the community.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the disabled access and toilet.
