‘At Home with the Pankhurst Family’

To share the inspiring story of the Pankhurst family, from the house in which they
lived, and in which the suffragette movement began.
1. The experience of visiting the Pankhurst Centre will be improved through a new exhibition exploring the extraordinary stories and achievements of the Pankhurst family in the house in which they lived and where the first meeting of the suffragettes took place.

2. More children and young people will visit the Pankhurst Centre and be connected to, and inspired by, the city’s radical history and this family of History Makers.

3. The building and collections of the Pankhurst Centre will be made more accessible to visitors, volunteers and staff in new ways.

4. The Pankhurst Centre will be a stronger and more sustainable organisation. Investment in an interactive and flexible offer will raise our profile and act as a showcase for future development work.
