Atlantic Road Play Area

A play area currently exists on this site although it is dated in great need of refurbishment. This has been identified in the borough’s play audit. The site is close to a housing estate and a large visitor’s car park. Designs have been produced with members of the local community, that are innovative, combining fixed equipment with landscaping, giving opportunities for a more sensory experience and free play. The site lies close to a busy road junction so pedestrian access has been carefully considered.
