Auchengray Church Windows Restoration

Auchengray Church was designed and constructed in 1863 by Fred Pilkington and is “B” listed. All the leaded windows are in a very poor state of repair and need to be taken out and rebuilt. There is a large stained glass circular window in the rear wall of the church consisting of 3 large cinquefoils and 3 small trefoils. Both the lead and the stonework supporting these have deteriorated and this window needs significant rebuild work. This work is necessary to preserve the integrity of the building and to considerably improve heat retention and planned ventilation.
