Auchmuty Muga

Create an outdoor multi use games area for local residents and youth. The project will promote and encourage physical activity, be an alternative meeting place to young people, a venue to be used at community events and open to schools and local organisations to use.
There is an identified need for this facility as other recreational facilities are outwith the local area and at a cost. The surrounding area of the project site of Auchmuty has a number of postcodes that fall within upper 15% scottish index of multiple deprivation so the project will contribute to regeneration and opportunity (10% regarding crime, unemployment and educational achievement).
