Auchterarder Red Squirrel Project

The project will protect and enhance the Scots pine woodland, which is already home to the red squirrel, by removing inappropriate tree species and new planting of a suitably enriched native understorey and wood land edge. Feeding stations will be included together with the installation of a rope bridge to help avoid / reduce the fatalities on the adjacent road.
