Auchtertool Pathways Project – phase 1

The overall Auchtertool Pathways Project aims to
* Link people, the village and its Kirk, by friendly neighbourliness and cooperation with all.
* Improve outdoor access, facilities, and usage. It’s strategic for further projects, including longer distance.
The 1 mile route, 95% traffic-free, is from the village to the best viewpoint in the area (at the kirk).
Phase 1 – the kirk viewpoint: inclusive access by reshaping access from the car park, through the Kirk gate, to the viewpoint, all DDA compliant; improving surfaces throughout; also interpretive display, all in sympathy with surroundings
