Austerlands Cricket Club, Oldham – New Fence

They will erect security fencing; palisade 6ftx6ft fencing panels around the ground to make it a more secure environment. This will protect the club itself, people using the club e.g. community groups, spectators and junior/senior players, and protect balls running into surrounding fields and buildings.
The supply and fit of the panels by an external company will prevent vandalism/damage to the clubhouse and practice facilities, working to protect a much-loved community asset that they have endeavoured to improve.
The project is key to protecting their community club, building confidence in local people and engaging our community old and young in physical and social activity. Without fencing the club is vulnerable to vandalism (they rank 4 on the IMD crime decile) which would detrimentally impact all visitors and make the community less likely to book the facility for their events.
