Ayrshire Coastal Path (Phase 2 Troon to Skelmorlie)

To provide the amenity of a long-distance walking route along one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the UK to add to the tourist potential of much of rural Ayrshire by attracting a great number of walking visitors; and also open up to the local public (young and old) the opportunity for health-giving exercise, and for the appreciation of our outstanding coastal history and flora and fauna.
