Babes in the Wood

Our woodland area is extremely well used by visitors to the park, school groups, dog walkers, families and especially our Forest Tots group. The pathway is in serious need of repair and replacement for access with prams the path has crumbled away and trip hazards. Our original sculptures and interpretation boards are now 10 years old and in need of replacement We would like to replace them with interactive sculptures that the children could play with. We also have a basic mud kitchen that children and families have requested to be transformed into a mud cafe for them to use. We are co-ordinating a woodland management plan with Fylde Borough council and would like to remove some old trees, plant some new trees to provide some screening/landscaping and some understory woodland planting to encourage wildlife and biodiversity.
