Back to Earth (B2E) Projects – 1B and 2A

B2E Projects 1B and 2A are part of Hackney City Farms Back to Earth Projects aiming to improve and develop the farm as a community facility in the park and make it an Environmental Improvement Centre for Hackney and East London by; reclaiming and renewing areas of derelict ground, fencing off, erecting gates, building new spaces, paths, poly-tunnels and a straw-bale Environmental Resource Centre and community workshop, making raised beds for disabled people, constructing a Childrens Organic Nature Garden, plus installing renewable energy systems, solar heating panels, wind power, rainwater collection and irrigation systems, and improving energy efficiency throughout
