Bagthorpe Primary School Garden

To develop a school garden, to plant grow and harvest fruit and vegetables. We will draw together participants from across the community to develop skills about food production gardening and cultivation. They will develop team-working skills which will boost their self esteem, confidence and give them a feeling of community spirit and belonging.

Food harvested will be prepared by children and the school kitchen. This project brings people together to work towards a collective goal that will establish better understanding between generations, create friendships, foster relationships and improve communications amongst groups.
