Ballymoney RFC - Enhancing and Expanding Floodlighting

Key objectives of the project are as follows: - To upgrade and extend our existing floodlighting system from halogen lamps to modern LED fittings with improved energy efficiency and increased light output. - Greater control of the lighting and a move away from them being lit on an ‘all or nothing basis’ with the creation of a zoned system. (target for the system to be operational by August 2022 ahead of the commencement of the 22/23 season) - To improve the overall training environment for the benefit of our current 600+ members, both in terms of the quality of the facilities and again in consideration of their safety when participating on rugby activities at the site. - To ensure facility provisions match growth and expansion in the club’s membership numbers across all groups - To expand the usage of the facility by the wider community and other external user groups (such as schools, other sports clubs and community groups)
