Ballynahinch RFC – rugby for the community

The mains aims of this project are to increase access to the services provided by Ballynahinch RFC, thereby ensuring a larger portion of the community can avail of the sporting, recreational, educational and social opportunities on offer.

One of the major areas of improvement identified by Ballynahinch RFC is the development of female rugby. However, a problem exists in that the Club does not have adequate showering and changing facilities for females. Therefore, the Club is seeking financial support to extend its current facilities to provide female showering and changing, thereby enhancing the access to Club activities for females within the community.

Part of this project also involves the improvement of drainage on 2 of our grass pitches.
The Club has devised the following project outcomes:
1.Extension to current changing facilities to cater for predominantly female users and after that, youth members.
2.To construct and install shower areas within the new changing facilities.
