Barford and Wramplingham Village Play Area

This project will rejuvenate our village play area by providing new, fun and exciting facilities for children, which are safe, suitable for a range of ages and accessible for those who are less able. The new equipment will be supplied and installed by a reputable local company. It will include:
– central climbing tower, with slide, climbing wall, rope net, bridge, monkey bars etc
– toddler climbing tower
– swing suitable for wheelchair users
– see-saw
– talk tubes and play panels for those less able
– woodland climbing stack
– all-access picnic table
The current equipment is minimal, and the central frame is old and broken. The play area project team includes four local parents who decided to come together to take action. We have
actively engaged and listened to the concerns of play area users to understand what they would like to see in a new improved play area.
