Barkingside Recreation Ground Playground Improvement

As part of an ongoing drive to raise the profile of the site we feel the playground is now the last feature in the park that would benefit from investment and refurbishment.Some of the play equipment has been in place for decades and aproaching the end of its designed life.The park would benefit from replacing and providing new and engaging play equipment.Play equipment has evolved substantially over the last 10 years and equipment is clearly designed to increase physical activity but also be inclusive and deter segregation of children of different abilities.The equipment will be targeted at inclusive and interactive use by age groups ranging up from toddlers to teenagers.Vision are commited to provide good play facilities to promote physical activity in young people and drive down childhood obesity.
