Barlow Road Community Agriculture Project (St Modwen ET)

The overall aim for the project is to:

Contribute to permanently improving 1.2ha derelict land for an accessible community agriculture resource and public amenity for local people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

To do this, we will:
1. Create opportunities for volunteering and skills development through environmental improvements and landscaping activities at the project site.
2. Regenerate a C19th hedgerow and plant a new perimeter hedgerow within designated parts of the site.
3. Carry out other landscaping and access improvements within the site to improve accessibility and safety for project users.
