Barlow Road, Wednesbury – Community Agriculture Initiative (4835/D/TP)

The project will support ‘Growing Healthy Communities’ over a 2 year timescale, by carrying out clearance and regeneration of approx 10,000sq m of derelict land and providing the essential infrastructure of a sustainable community agriculture project, and carrying out a substantial landscaping and tree planting project; as well as building local social capacity, by involving individuals, community groups, and schools, for a major community agriculture initiative serving diverse local populations in Sandwell (located in Wednesbury North ward).

The Trust grant will contribute towards the community agriculture initative.
