Barrow in Furness – Trinity Church Damp Prevention

Following the recommendations of a Methodist Quinquennial Report in August 2004 and the treatment of dry rot areas, further damage was reported from the ingress of water to the gable end of the main hall and the frames of the adjacent room windows.
The project aims to rectify this by: grinding out substandard brickwork joints, strip of stone coppings, install lead apron, repair all necessary lead flashings and soakers, patch plaster to internal walls, provide complete frames to rooms.
