Barrowden and Wakerley Village Hall

The new village hall will be built in stone, brick and slate, and will deliver greater building flexibility with sustainability and lower energy use. It will replace the current 1927 dilapidated wooden village hall. The hall will include a temporary/movable stage; one third/ two thirds folding partition to allow better use of the space; kitchen for food preparation/catering for events. Toilet facilities, including baby changing and disabled. A new car park will be installed to the West of the Hall. The new hall will sit on the same land as the old hall and is about 20% bigger to support the modern community and their requirements.
