Barry Buddon Bat Conservation Project

Barry Buddon Conservation Group require specialist equipment to enable them to establish bat species numbers particularly Daubenton’s bat (a species of conservation concern) and Pipistrelles ( a priority species) throughout the Barry Buddon Links area as part of the National Bat Monitoring Programme. The project site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), an EU Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Special Protection Area (SPA) for birds under the European Birds Directive
