Bartley Park, Totton – New Skate Park (10121/D)

The project aims to develop Bartley Skate park and its associated facilities. In Totton there is a severe lack of free sport facilities that are available to the entire community and Bartley Park is in a perfect location to be able supply residents with the facilities that they desperately want and need. The current skate park facility is in a desperate state of repair and poses numerous hazards to its users. When the park was first built there was a great sense of community and mixing between schools, families and sport disciplines. As the park has aged it has been observed that these groups have started to become less connected and people have been known to travel elsewhere to satisfy their sporting needs. With the completion of this project we will be able to connect the community in a host of exciting and engaging outdoor activities.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the new skate park.
