Barwick-in-Elmet, Jack Heaps Field Children’s Playground

The project plans to upgrade the existing playground at Jack Heaps Field, Barwick in Elmet. The area will be extended by 50 sq metres, to include 2 new popular items of equipment (roundabout with disabled access) and a pickup truck climber. New swings will be installed – 2 flat, 2 cradle seats plus a basket swing. Works include re-fencing the extended area, providing safety surfacing around the new and existing equipment and providing a litter bin. The existing springy unit, tower slide unit & multi play unit to be retained.
