Base 97 Project at On Route Dudley

The project is situated in the basement of a large Victorian building on the foyer. The space has not been used for activities for 2 years as it is in need of refurbishment and there are various health and safety issues before it can be re-opened. Prior to this the project had been a vibrant activity space for young people. The funds will be spent to make the whole of the basement area a safer more pleasurable space for all users and provide the opportunity for the space to be opened up for use by the wider community for social events and meetings. The young people have identified in their involvement and planning meetings what work needs to be done and feel that by using some of the funding to employ a local builder to help them they can achieve this.
