Basildon and Pitsea Cricket Club, Essex – Sporting Facilities Cricket Net Replacement (007554)

The Basildon & Pitsea Cricket Club is a fully inclusive, non-profit organisation that promotes cricket in the Borough of Basildon. Currently the club’s training facilities for junior members (boys & girls) is not useable and consequently inadequate. This project will not just benefit the cricket club but also the local community to have free use of a cricket training facility, all year round. The club nets would be accessible by all club members, schools and the people of the Basildon Borough. It will have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of so many of the local community. As a fully inclusive club, it would actively encourage not just current cricketers but local community clubs who support people with specific needs.
