Baynhall Meadows

The purchase of Baynhall Meadow, a hay meadow of 1.07 hectares in size. The site is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is one of the best ridge and furrow meadows in the county. Although the meadow has largely been managed sympathetically, grazing of the site has been inconsistent in recent years which is affecting the quality of the sward. The grazing regime which has been we would institute will address this decline and enhance the existing flora on the site.it sits in one of the best remaining complexes of unimproved grassland in the county and will provide an opportunity to engage with other landowners and managers.
