BBOWT Wetlands Project

To conserve the biodiversity of the River Ray Floodplain by implementing a range of works to improve specific habitats and increase the connections between areas of high wildlife value. This project aims to achieve large-scale strategic wetland restoration to benefit key speices including the curlew, lapwing and great creswted newt. The work willl include restoring and creating new wet grassland, riparian fencing, in-channel enhancements, creating new ponds and improving existing ponds.
